Hey guys, I feel really dumb, read the clear url ,right there in troy’s description,

I’ve used Syncler for several years now and it is absolutely the best. Follow the link provided and follow Troys steps to the “T”. That’s what had always worked for me.

Related question: do you have to subscribe to Syncler+ to get a good experience out of the app, or will these packages do the trick? I’ve messed with it a bit in the past, but other apps like Cinema have been fine for me until now.

Get the Syncler+

Syncler server quality is quite neutered in it’s free form.

If you’re able to budget it, optimum results will necessitate Syncler+ and RD subs. Well worth the money.

I just got a new Firestick and I’m trying to install syncler. I’ve got everything set up, added account license, and premiumize but I cannot add provider packages. As soon as I hit “done” on the firestick remote, I get "Installation failed (malformed manifest/data). I’ve tried multiple provider packages and all fail.

Which version of Syncler did you install?

The one on syncler.net

If you are referring to beta, did you install the vendors?

Your post referred to malformed manifest. This suggests you are trying to install incorrect pkgs for a different version of Syncler app.

I just used downloader and went to syncler.net then downloaded standard apk. Ill try an uninstall tomorrow and start over.

Ok.

The recognised procedure is as follows:

Install the installer. If you want the stable version, open the installer.

Ensure the beta switch is toggled off. Then download> the download size is around 95mbs. Then click on provisioned bottom right. Wait for it to finish.

Go to syncler app, now installed> settings> packages > my repository.

Select no more than 2 pkgs. Jakedup with or without Orion and install.

If you want beta version. Use installer again and toggle off and on the beta switch and download. This will identify your device automatically and download the appropriate version.

If when trying to install beta from installer, it starts to download as soon as you open it, cancel the download, and follow the procedure, above in my preceding paragraph.

The download size for beta, depending upon your device will be 45/55 mbps.

Hope that helps.
