I have 4 problems with Syncler +. They may or may not be related.
Lately, Syncler + seems to have buffering built-in. Most movies or TV shows I watch buffer throughout the shows. Sometimes it is only momentary, or a couple of seconds and other times the buffering is frequent and seems endless. I’ve removed and reinstalled Syncler + and Real-Debrid with no change. Any ideas? Is there anything in the setup that could be a flag to the problem? Interesting, at least to me, is when I watch these same shows through Fen on KODI (after I can’t stand the buffering on Sync), there doesn’t seem to be a buffering issue.
Another Syncler problem - I find it time-consuming, difficult and sometimes impossible to find a stream that I can fast-forward. With some regularity a show will crash in the middle of viewing prompting me to restart the show (not Syncler). Without fast-forward I’m required to sit through a repeat of the 1st 10, 20 or 30 minutes of many shows.
Even though I have closed-caption on automatically, it doesn’t show. So, whenever I open a stream with a fairly low sized file (think 720p), I have to change the HW to HW+.Then the option box to turn CC on shows. However, when I change to HW+ I lose sound. So then I click on the CC box and revert the HW+ back to HW to regain sound. Of course, that then starts the movie or show over from scratch.
Heaven forbid I should try to watch something in 4K. The buffering is endless.
I am using Nvidia Pro’s on 2 TV’s and I always close out the end of day with this routine. First, I clear the cache on my Internal Storage (12G) - not my Sandisk 128G USB plugged into the Nvidia. Then use FastApp Killer AND TDUK App Killer. I also have a wall outlet that doesn’t just shut the Nvidia off, but cuts power to it to it always starts fresh.
The above are daily occurances and I really am trying to find a solution - other than putting my fist thru the screen. I know this is a lot but I obviously need a little help. Make that a BIG help!
Real Debrid was down, so don’t know if that’s what was causing your problems. Try Stremio with a vpn and then no Real debrid is necessary. Lot’s of other apps. But Stremio and Syncler+ are the best options.
Thanks for the reply TJ. I am aware RD was down for a bit, but my problem is weeks old and ongoing. Last night I wathed shows that buffer in Syncler but not in KODI/Fen, so the issues are definitely in Syncler and I don’t have anywhere else to go for answers. H E L P !

You may need to go into your player settings and adjust for audio passthrough. Once on HW+ you should not need to downgrade it to HW or SW and then change it back. Unfortunately without being on your system it is almost impossible to analyze and fix what is wrong on your system. But we should hit nail on the head once we understand precisely what’s occuring.

I’m back. I looked in Syncler’s player settings - actually I looked at every option in settings - and I can’t find anything close to something that can adjust audio passthrough. I don’t think I mentioned it before but I use MX Player because (Ibelieve) it is the only one that supports closed-caption. I’d appreciate it ifyou could point me in the right direction. Thanks. Which MX Player are you using? You should have MX Player Pro otherwise there are missing codecs and pro has them all. It use to be in Troy’s toolbox. I’ll check.
Yup TROYPOINT Toolbox has it.
I quit using Mx player for that reason. I use the exo player. I turn on subtitles when show first starts. Works good for me so far. Good Luck
