Surfshark vs IPvanish

Well, based on Troy’s recommendation and the current pricing special, I signed up for 2 years of Surfshark, as my IPvanish subscription was about to run out. I’ve only used it on the Windows PC so far. Not a great fan - the interface and information provided are inferior to IPvanish and several of the features in Troy’s review are not there (maybe they are just on the firestick version).

If I could get a deal on IPvanish, I would probably have stuck with it but apparently, they don’t give a rat’s a$$ about existing customers! (Yes, I know, I could have just given a new e-mail address but, in part, its the principle of the thing)

At this point its really just user experiences and preferences… as long it meets the check points both i and troy of layed it out, it really dont matter.

I can bet others dont feel the same as you, and those options are available. But again, take everyones review with a grain a salt, make sure it does the basics and go from there.

Im glad you got to try it. After your ss is up go bacl to ipvanish, different email and they will probably give you a new deal.

Surfshark is in the top 10

I personally have been getting vastly better download speeds with Surfshark than I ever got with IPVanish, Express and Nord. And I also found it has been more stable. Thanks to Troy for covering this product.

I got Surfshark in December and got 27 months for £48, it’s brilliant…

I use surfshark and it works great. I can change the US servers and it works with ustvgo.tv to receive all channels. And it’s easy to exclude apps from using the vpn if necessary. Using it on an ONN box, Firestick max and 4k, skystream android box all with no issues. I’ve had no problems with Kodi using real-debrid. I would recommend it.

I used surfshark for a week now. For me, it’s great and better than IPVanish. IPVanish is a good VPN so I am not shooting it down. Surfshark has better speeds for me. It also stays connected for longer. I haven’t delved into too many options yet, but I will. I used the Android box XRS4900. It is fantastic and worth every dollar!

My ipvanish acct is up in a few months. I just read here that surfshark has a few ad blocking features that ipvanish doesn’t. Just looking at surfshark specials for signing up.

I had IPVanish for two years. It was good but I now have SurfShark and it’s better. The Ad blocker works extremely well on apps like BeeTV and FilmPlus.

Thanks. That’s what I’m looking for.
