Will the old Troy video on supercharging the Walmart Onn 4k android Tv box apply to the new Walmart Onn 4k Steaming Box/Google TV device? I have immediately noticed some things that need to be addressed. The initial video uses iPVanish. Thanks in advance for you help.
Probably because he was pushing IPVanish at the time and now it’s Surfshark. Regardless VPN has nothing to do with the operation of the Box. Use a VPN or don’t use a VPN, has nothing to do with the box
Thanks MarkxG. I was initially asking if the steps to supercharging the previous Walmart 4k android TV box would apply (work) with the new Walmart 4k android TV box.
What actually are you looking to do?
@MarkxG
Follow Troy’s video on supercharging the Walmart Onn 4k android TV box. I was able to follow those instructions on the older Walmart Onn, and was asking if the steps would be the same and work with the new Walmart Onn box.
@Streaming429. Sorry but I referred my response to the wrong person. See my latest post to MarkxG.
@hammer I will be releasing a new video soon once I figure out this USB expanding storage problem. If you do this, it work but once the device reboots, it will not load the USB drive. Trying to figure this out.
I purchased the new Onn streaming box at Walmart yesterday, like many have said about the USB
for expanded memory, once you restart the box your
USB is gone,
If you go into Developer Options, turn off USB Debugging. then restart your box the USB will start working again.
Hope this helps,
Thanks TROYPOINT and rgporter59. I will look for the release of a new video by TROYPOINT on the expanding storage problem with the new Onn streaming box from Walmart.
