SuperBox S3 pro does not turn on

I recently purchased the SuperBox S3 pro and when I plugged it in the wall the LED display did not light up. I checked all connections and they are secure. Is there something else I need to do to get the display on? So, therefore, my HDMI input is not recognizing device. I’m a novice at connecting electronics and would appreciate any direction. Plug in the device press power and make sure your tv is on the correct input.

Thanks. I discovered it was a defective power adapter
