Hi everyone, I am looking for a Kodi build to use that will be the easiest to use with my HDHomeRun, I think it is the Flex4. I do not subscribe to the HDHomeRun service/guide whatever but am using Channels DVR. My tech level is pretty decent but my experience with DVR’s not so much. So far looking through the latest best builds I am thinking on Diggz Xenon. We just recently ditched Sling because our AirTV apparently took a dump but their customer service was so bad that they couldn’t even come to that conclusion. Anyways I will be looking to add some kind of replacement for the cable channels we no longer get. Oh and I want it to be as painless as possible to teach elderly mother how to use. I don’t think that you can install Kodi on a HDHomeRun unit.
That said, there are some very inexpensive devices that are easy to use with Kodi.
And, for a Kodi newbie, I’d recommend using an add-on or two,

Actually now that I think about it, the HDHomeRun may not be as important as the Channels DVR. Good guide and DVR functionality are important and the skip ads function. I have seen a Channels DVR add on but so far have not been successful at getting it fully functional but I’m guessing a build is not going to make that any easier.
