I finally got this installed on my AM9 Ugoos unit,Installed many addons , get lots of links but every link I click to play I get this error,Is this a setting that I need to adjust in my box?
You need to try finding another source to try or another player to use.
Thanks Mike, will try VLC external player in the setting
I tried VLC full edition and didnāt have much luck with it. Perhaps download the Just Video Player from Troyās toolbox
as well for another choice to use.
Yes will try as VLC did not work, when I clicked play it opened VLC player outside STRMR
Ok downloaded Just Video Player and deleted VLC player, cleared the cache and force stop app, reloaded and went into setting for players, VLC still shows up, no way to get this off the list so Just Video play can replace it. AM9 sometimes drive me crazy
Sorry I canāt help. Vlc should have been removed if you deleted it and it APK.
Hey no problem, funny thing I have this on 2 other certified boxes and they both look different when loading them up compared to the one on my Ugoos AM9 box, I will keep at it and see If I can get some help from there telegram community
I get the same thing on my AM8, but I usually pick a different link and it will play.
Miki, I agree with you 100%. I have found the app to be very good in terms of finding and playing TV shows & Movies. However, having to search for the show/movie every time you launch it is annoying. Hopefully, the developer will add a Library function to it shortly. For me right now, this is working better than Stremio.

I followed your tutorial even subscribe to torbox but when I got to the point where youāre supposed to add scrapers my app didnāt have that tab thereās no way to add scrapers so Iāve got a boat anchor any ideas what I can do to fix it

The devs removed that integrated scraper feature for legal / compliance reasons. You now add scrapers as addons, the same way you would in Stremio and other popular apps.
Go to the Addons section of the app (or in the STRMR Web Dashboard), and paste in your install URL (.json code) for Duck Streams, Torrentio, etcā¦
Ex:
You can copy / paste the addon URLs from Stremio (if you have them), or can configure them new through the following links:
Thank you I knew somebody in here would be able to help me I had high hopes for that app to be my next go to.
Thanks for trying but it looks like Iām just going to have to uninstall it and walk away I think you guys are using the PC Iām using a shield Pro nothing Iām trying is working and nothing is worth this much work. I have never used streamo I know nothing about it. But I canāt figure out a way to copy and paste anything with my shield Pro
The web dashboard is simply an easier way to configure your add-ons via copy / paste from the computer. The cloud then syncs that data directly to your TV or mobile version of the app.
Itās not required to use the web dashboard however. I have also pasted add-on URLs directly from my mobile device into the TV app. You can do this using the Google TV application on your phone. The Google TV app allows you to connect to your streaming device. Once connected, you can paste into the text box that you have open on your Shield, and it would prevent you from having to manually type the urls. Just another option to consider, as there are multiple ways of handling the setup.
Everyoneās threshold is different for what they consider to be ātoo much workā. Considering what these apps can provide however, the upfront investment in time can pay dividends in terms of the many hours of streaming that you get on the back end.
You may also find some of the information in this guide to be helpful. The configuration options work pretty much the same across the main apps (Stremino, Nuvio, STRMR, etc..):
Good luck
If you donāt have a computer I do all my config on my Pixel Tab.
If you have a phone, use an app like atvTools to link to your Shield, I use it to paste on to my TV boxes. Use your phone to do this. It will work for STRMR.net or the Nuvio link if you want to try that app.
Also Nuvio is simple if you have Stremio set up already. Log in to stremio on the computer or phone. and go to https://nuvioapp.space/ and log in. Back to Stremio click add ons and then click the circle and then click the arrow and paste in add ons in Nuvio or STRMR.
