Stremio Subtitles Audio Sync

@Miki Thank you. Have now set cache to 2gb. It was set to No cache.

I have vlc and mx player installed. But it never gives me the option to choose which one including built in player.

In settings i do not have " always play with external player.

When i enabled that and played a series, it automatically chose mx player.

Any ideas?

Try clearing Data in your MX Player app. That should clear out your selection. Most likely at some point you click the “Always Use” button.

MX player is a good option but if using stremio may i suggest just player. VLC and MX are top dogs but Just player is better suited to use less resources.

not sure on your device.

@TP-Dracoo

Thanks for that. But if i install it, how do i select it? As previously stated, i do not appear to have the option to select an external player.

My device is a Minix U22xj Max

What version are you running for Stremio?

I am running Version 1.5.8

@Powerfader Done that. Downloaded just player. Now i have mx pro,vlc and just player installed.

But there is nowhere when selecting a stream to watch series or movie, to allow me to choose a player.:thinking:

Maybe you and others are using Firestick or Android TV. Whereas i am using an Android OS set top box. And therein may lie the answer.

Thanks to all for their help. But on this side of the world, it is time for bed. If anyone should reply to my latest posts, i will read them in the morning.

Many thanks.

I am using nVidia Pro with v1.5.6 from the Play Store. Tbh, I am about done with this Stremio app. It’s just a pain in the butt! I lost my Orion and Toreentio addons. Had to uninstall Stremio and re-install. Now I can’t even find the Torrentio addon at all. And to top it off now now I can’t see any addons section at all. It just keeps telling to link witrh PC or phone.

@Powerfader . Try and download 1.5.8 from playstore on your PC.

I had a few problems setting mine up, but @Miki very kindly guided me through the setup from his own setup. And now mine works great.

Once you have set it up on your PC, all you have to do, is open the app on your set top box and you will have the same setup. Just make sure that your Nvidia has the same app version.

Hope that helps.

Yeah, I finally got everything back up and running…maybe? Miki sent me a link for all the packages and that is the only place I finally found torrentio. I ended up downloading the app from the Stremio website. The one I kept getting from the Play Store wouldn’t even let me open the addon page in the app. Although, I was able to sync and had connections. I was unable to add any packages from the app on my device.

Anyway I got it back up and running v.1.5.8 and so far everything is good.

I still like Syncler+ better, but they went crypto unless you want to pay a 3rd party an extra $10 bucks just to process your subscription.

Right now I have Syncler+, Stremio, and FilmPlus. I really like Syncler+, but the others are good too. Besides, all the iptv services offer their own movie sections, too.

Decisions, decisions…lol
