Stremio Stream Loading Time

I have version 1.6.8 installed and have the same issue with version 1.6.7

Irrespective of the stream i choose with RD+Torrentio, i am greeted with the movie/Series Title pulsating on the screen.

This now takes between 15 to 20 seconds to load.

I have my settings as
1.No cache
2.HW Decoding mode to "Full acceleration "
3. My internet speed is 956mbps and connected by Lan cable.

I have tried with and without vpn. Absolutely no difference.

Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Rebooted device and router.

Any thoughts on if this is upgrade related issue, or considered normal.

not sure, I have stremio stock and android-tv versions both with rd and same settings as you and no load issues.

Thanks for trying. This is driving me nuts. 25 seconds to load and then 10 secs or so pf bufferring.
Tried Android mobile and tv versions. Have the same issue on my mac version znd phone version.

Will try and reinstall everything from scratch in the morning.

@Dak7385 Yes, I too have to wait 15-90 seconds for a movie or series to load and begin. Then Stremio plays wonderfully well. For me it’s a small price to pay for effortless viewing. In the case of binging a series, the first episode takes longer to load than subsequent episodes when viewed consecutively. But at 75 y.o., I’ve got 30 seconds to spare.

Version 1.6.8 is for Android mobile devices.
Latest version for Android TV is 1.6.4.
In past I have tried using Android Mobile Devise version on Android TV and periodically experienced issues. Have been using the Android TV version for a few months now without any issues.

It’ll depend on what program is trying to load to. Some movies is not that many feeds out there for.

Try switching VPN server locations. I have no issues what so ever on 4K HDR or 4K HDR 10+. on my Shield pro.

Thanks to everyone for their replies.

This morning, for reasons beyond my comprehension, loading streams is down to between 5 and 10 seconds on all my devices.

So, i can live with that. :pray:t2:
