I currently have Stremio installed, with Torrentio and RD. Does anyone have any other good add ons to recommend? Also, anyway to disable RD download links?

Stremio with RD and Torrentio are about the best setup you could have for Movies and TV series. there are many more things you can use it for so the additional addons are your choice. If you are interested I could PM you a link to a Stremio Discord server and community.

Or you can also go through this list and add everything that might be of interest to you. It’s all on their servers so takes no room.

I have every movie and tv series added. But about 95% of the time I use the RD links. I only use others as a backup plan.

Exactly only use official add-ons. Some people who don’t are reporting that they are getting banner ads in Stremio.
Stramio did away with ads about 4 years ago and to this day is a free and ad-free service. So best advice is to only use official stremio and official stremio add-ons and be careful who you take advice from on the internet.

Is there any way to remove subtitles permanently on Stremio? Or just turn them Off in every episode or movie individually as they begin to play? Ope subtitles isn’t installed either, but at start of each show or movie, we have to manually turn it off. Using Nvidia Shield
I just checked on the new v.1.6.1 and in settings>playback scroll down to Subtitles and select none for Preferred and Secondary. I would imagine that is all you have to do?

When your video starts to play, press the select/enter button. At the top right of the screen find the icon that resembles a keyboard and select it, that is the CC controls. You will see a toggle type switch top right. Toggle to “off”. Continue playing video.
