Streaming Volume

Hey Miki,
can you tell me how to do this setup with your Shield going into your soundbar please.

my modem and shield are on opposite sides of the room. I’ll keep it as is. thanks

My Soundbar has two HDMI inputs. So out of My Shield Pro to my HDMI 1 input then HDMI out to my TV one connect box.

Posted her the proper connection configuration last night. She said she was going leave it as is.

Oh well @Powerfader we can only do so much. We can lead a horse to water but not make them drink. Your help is always spot on. Have a great day.

So we talk about people behind their backs now? Thought we were grown ups in here.
I asked how it’s was done. The one bit of information that was left out was the fact you have 2 HDMI spots which means I couldn’t do it anyway. My soundbar only comes with one. So ask I said before thanks for the information and I will Have to stay with the connection I have. :no_mouth:

Noone was talking behind anyone’s back. Advice was offered and turned down and no reason given. Simply ignored out of hand and you don’t need two HDMI inputs just one in for your streaming device and one out to your HDMI ARC in on your TV. Comments were not intended to insult anyone and sorry you took it that way. Just a statement of fact. But as it was taken that way, regardless of intent, I will remove it for you.

Soundbar HDMI OUT TO TV HDMI IN (Use eARC if you have it)

You never specified how many HDMI connections you have nor the brand of soundbar. In fact, you didn’t include any details of your equipment.

Since your modem and device are not near your TV. Then you will need to use a wifi connection instead of a HDMI. Not a big deal. Simple to do either way.

You asked for help, and I obliged. Then you said*, ā€œI’ll keep it as is.ā€* So, there was nothing more to discuss.
