FTTH is coming to my area. I don’t want to rewire my entire house. I am getting a netgear nighthawk 700s. What android box is best for the higher speeds?
@Lukgeo - FTTH = “Fiber to the House” correct? If you already have an ethernet network in place you wont have to rewire anything if you have at least cat5, cat5e or better. Get a BUZZTV PowerStation 6 Unlimited and youre good to go for a long and speedy time!
I ordered mine yesterday and on a whim tried the discount code TROYPOINT and it (still) works for a smooth 50 bucks off! Good luck to you and enjoy your new setup.

If you have cable to every room in your house you can now buy adapters that will provide an ethernet connection to any room with a cable plug. I forget what it’s called but a search should find it.
Yes! I forgot about those @Miki ! I used them on my dearly departed mom’s house and they worked a treat . Ethernet Powerline adapters use your home’s electrical wiring to create a network connection, allowing you to extend your internet access to different rooms without running long cables. They are ideal for improving connectivity in areas where Wi-Fi signals are weak or unreliable. I hooked hers up to two Fire Cubes and as I said, they worked well. Netgear and TP-Link still sell them Im pretty sure.
These use the existing cable connections tthat a lot of houses have.
Oh…ok those are called MoCa adapters. (Multimedia over Coax Alliance)
I’ve used them in the past for customers with cable installed, but the failure rate was too high and the return service calls were brutal. I quit using them.
Ya they’ve improved considerably so I’m told. I don’t need anything like this as I have fiber to my Apartment. Man that is a slick install. Love it.
Thanks for all the info.
