You know this has to be part of Musks plan to get his 55illion compensation package he says he deserves from Tesla. I avoid anything that has anything t do with Musk. If Starlink was the only option I guess my internet days would be over

That expensive flat dish is not sitting on your grandma’s rental either. Look who owns it. Companies will capitalize and merchandise to their customers as they see fit by their ability to afford products. Look at Ferrari, they only sell cars to customers that can afford them. That don’t merchandise cars to people who make a hundred thousand a year, they merchandise to people who make that in a week’s investment.
Actually you would be surprised.The region where we live doesn’t have fast internet in most areas.I have a couple of family members that went with starlink,and there are also many others in this area going with it.Certainly not what I would consider wealthy,but it’s just the only choice they have for high speed internet.Starlink dishes are dang near popping up like directv dishes back in the 90’s.I suppose folks going with starlink can offset some of the expense by dropping sat tv,home phone etc.
It just kind of sucks that some folks have no other alternative,and Musk is gonna put the squeeze on them.
Inflation’s real bad for senior citizens right now. Especially property taxes.
