Looking very good for situations like he has. Would be nice to see it stream a video. Rather low upload speed but it might be ok.

Yep, I want to see it stream in real life situations. I did ask Elon if he would gift me one.

I’ll be anxiously watching for the FedEx man! :money_mouth_face:

Anybody who can land a booster rocket and reuse it is amazing has amazing staff and as far as I’m concerned it is incredible! I know a lot of people have personal thoughts about Elon musk but he’s accomplished a lot. I’m sure glad he’s working for America and not Putin. The man has his own satellite system, his own satellite system, who else can say that? When they were first testing their booster rockets to land and they kept crashing I was laughing, I’m not laughing now!

$50 bucks a month for 130-150 Mbps …not bad at all.

Where I live Central California, starlink $120 for internet, $ 299 for standard kit.$50 for 50 GB not very much data. I think my largest month is 1560 gigabytes

“It only comes with 50GB of data, though, while for truly unlimited satellite Internet, one has to sign for the $150 roaming plan together with the Starlink Mini purchase.”

Still, for those that have a need for this (I would think for mission critical stuff or a backup internet solution maybe), not too bad considering what it’s intended to be, AND all the tech behind it.

Most likely the equipment will continue to improve as time marches on. I can see this and similar equipment being the go-to in the not-so-distant future.
