Starlink going to have to set up

99 to resevre a space then 500 for equipment the 99 goes as a credit towrds that when they ship then its 99 a month with no contract cancel at will ---- if you reserve you can cancel that any time and get that back also it took about a year to get

Where is this dish located? What state and how close to a major city? Is there a data limit? How many users are on at the same time? Do you own, or rent the equipment?

Is there a box the cable is connected to? If so, could you take a pic of it and how you are connected?

This is very interesting!

Interesting, it appears to be in Canada. I may try this whenever I can get a house up north somewhere

Wow, you’re a neighbor. I live in Cape Coral. I am thinking of moving and I don’t want internet availability to become a factor. Keep us posted as to your ongoing experiences.

My dish is round. Works great here in S.C.

Can you take the dish with you in an RV to travel or is it locked to your address?

I don’t think you can at the moment, but I have read where that is a priority issue they are actively working on.

This system could be a major game changer! Concrap has to be shaking in their boots!

I’ m on the ledge :eyes:…shoulda I jump or not  :grimacing:

If I lived where I couldn’t get quality internet service. I definitely would look into it. Although, I am not sure if this system is available in all regions yet? :man_shrugging:

The guy said he was on a waiting list for a year, I believe?

yea I believe the waiting list is about a year but that is sposed to change…Im on the brink but I pay $90 for 900 down 20 up right now so still cheaper monthly.

Same here. Although, I am most likely going to move to either the hills in TN or the mountains in the Dakotas, WY, or MT. I f I do move to one of those locations. It’s reassuring to know that I may have options.

I wonder if they’re coming to mexico. The infrastructure down here sucks. Would be a game changer for sure.

If you want you can download the starlink app and check your signal wherever you are. I have checked mine indoors and get about 50-55%. So with that alone im pretty sure its a go for me when I decide. And Miki I would bet Mexico is ok. I believe from what I read only the north and south poles are not covered.

Here’s a good article that spells it out pretty well…I see there are limited areas of Mexico included…
