Split screen shows 2/3 then 1/3 - see attached image

Hello,

I just set up a new fire stick 4k pro max. I have FEN and Crew and Seren for movies.

In both apps, when I choose some movies they playback in a split screen, looks similar to trying to watch 3d on a regular TV. It looks like 2/3 of the movie then 1/3 of the screen repeats, if that makes any sense.

I can choose a movie link (using RD) and it has the playback screen issue, and I choose a different link (maybe the link directly below the troubled one) and it plays back just fine.

I never had this problem with my other fire stick, so I’m guessing it might be a setting there.

I made sure that 3D was disabled in Kodi, just in case that might have been the problem.

UPDATE: it seems like any movie that is larger then 23G causes the problem. Before getting the new fire stick max, I was able to play much larger movies. Very strange

I have been noticing a similar problem but not just movies. My IPTV does it sometimes watching live shows.

I found out the the issue for me was HYBRID movies. I have a Samsung TV and any time I try to play any movie that has HDR | HYBRID in the info bar for the movie, it splits the screen.

It’s always easy to find an alternative movie, but I still find it annoying.
