Sparkle Player Issue From Troypoint Toolbox

Has anybody had any issues using Sparkle Player from the Troypoint Toolbox?
I downloaded it onto two Onn.4k Pro boxes and was having all sorts of issues mounting to the USB port and once I managed to do this I couldn’t get a stable recording on the drive.
I tried three different drives on both boxes and after a few minutes the picture would run fast whilst the sound stayed normal, so I’d click back and it would glitch again, overall making any recordings unwatchable.
I then uninstalled and went to the Playstore and downloaded it from there and all issues disappeared.
I’m wondering if there’s a problem with the one in the Toolbox?

I haven’t had any problems but if you want another source of the official apk while avoiding Google there is always a link pinned in Sparkle’s subreddit and you can just used downloaded with the address. The dev posts there and it is a good source of info also.

I don’t have any issue using Google Playstore, it was just easier to set up a new device using the Troypoint Toolbox, but not for me with Sparkle.
I’ve been in touch with the developer there👍🏻
