premium is for business use not home

Premium service that costs $500/month on top of $500 up front cost.

Aimed at businesses with large monthly data transfers. So not to bad really. I paid $340/mth in Canada for internet/phone/TV, and that was for home service.

WTH :grimacing: :eyes: no wonder you moved :sunglasses:

To think my internet is included in my rent, I’ve cut the cord, so don’t pay for TV and my phones cost me just $25/mth. A savings of $315/ mth. That and giving up my car I’m saving close to $1000/mth. So that covers rent and more. Yowsa.

Starlink will be a viable option in the near future, not the premium, if my ISP doesn’t either consider lowering the price or giving me faster speeds at the same price. They are a small. family owned phone company. Probably just a few left across the country. I get 25m for $67 a month. They buy their access as everyone does. I live rural and this is by fr better than the dial up I had 20 years ago. However they could give faster speeds for the price of slower speeds. So, Starlink is a great option for us.

Yes I agree. I am on board with the consumer grade starlink. Currently the monthly price is about the same for me and my current speeds are 900gb/20gb so I am in the wait and see mode.
