I have adds it the beginning of videos on smart youtube is it just me , Fix?

Use SmartTube Next - i installed it this morning on a tablet of mine & it blocked ads on all the vids i played. I also use it on all my IPTV boxes with no ads.
Smart Youtube is obsolete long time ago. Replacement is SmartTube Next.

I noticed the same thing. I prefer this app over the other options. I guess I will have to try one of those.
The developer of Smart YouTube had abandoned Smart YouTube a while ago. He relaunched it as Smart YouTube Next. It’s available on Troypoint RAI …Good luck.

SmartTube Next is no way as easy to use as Smart YouTube. Previous searches do not appear to be saved, or maybe I have not found a way of doing it.
Is there a way of downloading and installing an old version of Smart YouTube for firestick tv.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Forget SmartTube -. as myself & others have said - SmartTube is the past - SmartTube Next is the next step in the evolution of watching YouTube vids ad free
Many on the forum, myself included, upgraded to a later version of STN last week only to find vids froze & were basically unwatchable. Yesterday, it affected.me. I logged out of it, having used one of my Google accounts previously. I then opened the app & lo & behold, an update was provided by the developer - installed it &. viola, no more freezing - I tested multiple vids with no issues. Some forum members have even logged in using their Google account with no problems (I haven’t yet, fearing it would screw things up again but will do so now)
All this to say starrt using SmartTube Next…SmartTube isn’t being developed anymore.
Another option is to use YouTube Revanced. - Troy has suggested this in his articles (although I still use YouTube Vanced on two tablets with no issues - although haven’t had any updated in 2 months)

Yeah I have vanced on my phone. I’m too Impatient to wait for the " skip ad" button to appear on the video lol

Guess I should have viewed the post better. Smart Tube is working fine with zero ads. Im using the beta version and all is well

Quite a few updates for SmartTube Next last couple of days. Guess developer is trying to keep up with Google’s shenanigans!
Thanks TXRon. I installed the Beta. I have never had a you tube account but thought with all the youtubenext news lately I’d install the Beta version and see what the fuss is all about. App works perfectly, although I still have no clue what good it is or why I’d want it, but always up to trying something new. No buffering, lockups or hiccups.

Miki I have always used youtube for tutorials and an occasional rock video 
… however as of late google has decided it knows best what I need to view …so smart tube is what I use for a no ads venture into youtube land on occasion.

Got ya, but I must have a mental block cause I go through line after line of stuff and see nothing usefull. Lots of useless vids and wasted time. Guess I need to catch the Tube bug. Maybe I need an account.
Mine don’t even open anymore . Will try the update .
Try the Beta. Works for me but I don’t have an account to log into to test that part.
They are both built by the same developer and use the same interface. There is nothing complicated about either version .
I updated to 08/15/22 an got it working . On the older version it would work for a few days then quit . Hope this update stays up .

Is their a way to vew subscriber comments and questions about the podcast ? I have tried looking for them with out any luck . Is their a way to turn them on in this app ?
Click ok button, scroll up then over to the symbol that looks like text message (between share and search) click ok to turn off and on. PS - you have to be signed in to work.
PapaS When I watch a video Their isn’t a symbol between share an search and where is the the ok button to scroll up then over to the symbol . Dont quite understand you instructions .
