I have just learned, after struggling with Gemini on why specific CBS Shows have not been available for viewing, that Paramount+ has changed the way they name/label their shows and some recent installs (like mine) involving: KODI/Umbrella/Cocojoe/Premiumize/Trakt cannot handle them. Even though they download and are showing up, they have no Run Time info and report “Playback failed. One or more items failed to play. Check the log for more information about this message.”
After hours of trouble shooting Gemini discovered the real culprit. There may be a way to get around this problem but after some serious time working on the possible fix I told Gemini (Google AI) that I will just wait until the appropriate programmers work it out.
I have not seen where this has been discussed on Troypoint but if it is or was a topic that is still live, please direct me to it.
Otherwise, I would like to hear if anyone else has run into this problem and especially if they know how to fix it. I am really not interested in switching to another source so recommendations like that are not necessary to me but others may appreciate them.
