It is easy. Download TVBro the web browser, open the browser, scroll across the top to the wheel cog which is the settings & click.
Once in the settings, click down to Choose default search engine and click on Custom which is on the bottom. type in https://tvpass(dot)org/channels and then backspace. Now click on Homepage and click on Search Engine then again backspace.
Now everytime you open TVBro web browser, you will automatically be on TV Pass.
I am a tad confused, although that in and of itself isn’t surprising. tvpass seems to be a collection of tv channels, similiar to the old tvapp. So opening it with bro browser, are you saying it removes the live tv channels ads in all my live tv apps?
No obviously not, the web browser has an ad blocker which will remove any/many external ads & setting the homepage to the search engine and the search engine to custom then set the search engine homepage to the TV Pass makes using that particular web browser dedicated to that just to make it user friendly for normal people.
I stopped writing code years ago and am limited to only C and C++ so it is far easier to use others work rather than writing another open source program and where now in my 70’s, I vastly prefer spending time on other things in life.

Ahhh. Gotcha. Tx for the clarification. I read and reread it and just couldn’t understand exactly what you were saying. Have a good buffer free day Mr. @JSRFrench . So the live TV will obviously still play embedded ads, just not the external ones. Same as my VPN does. Oh and no matter what anyone here says, I do consider myself to be normal, and like you at 70 I do prefer anything that makes my life easier. Be well.

Sorry Miki, that is a long known problem for me, the 3 A&M grads who worked under me were driven nuts when I would leave written instructions after I left flying to whatever Drill Ship was having problems somewhere in the world as I often turned off the satellite phone.
There is a method to turn off embedded ads but generally allows around 3 seconds then a blank screen for the duration and has been known to loop on reset. Cyn is on a honeymoon type vacation now but will ask her when she returns to the NSA and calls for cooking advice. Girl is a super-nerd genius married her only BF she met when she was 29 and can’t boil water.
