I remember when PPV events were special, big main attractions. It seems now they will will have anything on PPV to make it seem special. Its a quick money grab and they depend on it now.
When you try to sell a Yugo as a Mercedes, most people arent going to pay.
And you are also taking a chance paying for the high profile big main event and getting a quick or crappy fight. Happens too often and people think twice before they buy again.
If i can watch for free and I might check it out but i am not paying for almost any PPV nowadays.
Back in the day we used to have watch parties for big boxing,ufc or wrestling events.It was a lot of fun.But the price kept exponentially rising,and the quality of the events kept decreasing.It’s always greed that breaks the camels back,but big media will never admit that.
I remember we’d get the expensive pay per view to watch a Mike Tyson fight… which usually lasted about 1-2 rounds. We stopped doing that pretty quick.
