With the weekend change in time to Daylight Savings time, the EPG in TiviMate is all screwed up. The manual “offset” works for individual channels but changes back when another channel EPG is changed. Does the remedy have to come from the IPTV provider in their playlist or is there another way around this? Thanks in advance.
Hey @Homerdaisy pretty sure everything is thru your iptv provider playlist/epg url…most of mine changed but I still a few channels in my Tivi favorites that haven’t yet. They should…eventually…if not I’d send an email to your provider.
Thanks @pangaeatech that’s what I thought too. I’ve emailed my IPTV provider and waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully they will fix the “offset” problem by writing script into their playlist. Cheers.
Hey Homer…
Ya cant just go do this?
Settings…
EPG…
EPG Sources…
Clik onto source…
& change the whole playlists’ EPG Time Offset… then when yor provdr gets it straight, youll chng it bck
hth…
You can do that, but if that fails or resets the provider will need to update as well.
In my experience with time changes…it seems like it’s always just some of my channels don’t change, never all of them…but I guess it all depends on the provider & the playlist servers used…so…who knows.
Using Tivimate you can change the entire playlist at once, or you can change individual channels.
My advice is do nothing for a few days and see if your provider sorts it out.
Not everyone does the time change at the same time and I have been told that the providers hold off their adjustments until the UK changes their time at the end of the month.
IMHO, it’s not worth the hassle. So I’ll wait a bit and let the service provider do their thing.
…jus sayin
I agree one of my providers did it quick the other took a little longer but, both did it.
Thanks to all for the information provided. New to IPTV but loving the fact that I’m only paying about 1/10th of what I did on cable. A true cord cutting pleasure. BTW, it seems like my provider has made the changes cause the EPG seems to be lining up now. It didn’t matter that much to me but the bride was upset because she wouldn’t be able to set up her recordings properly. She’s a happy camper now, as am I. Thanks again! Cheers!
