With the recent 3 addons going away I decided to install Seren as I have an active Real-debrid (RD) account. Install on Sheild, Kodi 19.3 went fine including A4k provider, Trakt and RD activation with selection as preferred Cloud source. My problem is no matter what movie/tv show I select the list only returns Torrents, not one Real-debrid account. I also tried reauthorizing RD with VPN off several times. I see my RD premium and username under the RD active slider so I’m sure it’s been authorized. Any suggestions on why this isn’t working?
I’m still using Cinema with RD as I don’t seem to get the problems others have mentioned in recent posts. However I also notice that almost all the listings found by RD refer to Torrent files

Try to authorize RD from Kodi Settings> System> Add-ons make sure you are in Expert view then to the right> Manage dependencies>
Navigate to and install ResolveURL> Configure> ResolveURL to the right make sure to enable Enable Universal Resolver then> Universal Resolver 2 to the right> Reset My Authorisation> (Re) Authorize My Account. Pop-up message will appear with the code.
From your PC/Laptop or phone open RD website then enter the code and your device. Kodi message will disappears> Click ok and restart Kodi.
You can try this with or without VPN

What’s wrong with that? Cached torrents are the only thing I stream. By default this is what Seren does. In other addons like The Crew you have to enable cached torrents only. I never have any buffering this way.

It’s been a while since I’ve used Seren because I prefer the crew. But with the crew at the beginning of the links it will say “RD”, meaning real debrid. If you are getting hundreds of links in Seren then real debrid is probably working but it just doesn’t label it as such. If you’re only getting a handful of links then you didn’t authorize your account successfully.

Just for info. Many users experience RD authentication problem in kodi add-ons.
Authorizing RD via ResolveURL solves their problem.

I swear seren shows rd far left and cached torrents out at right. In other words it shows both on same line

Could be. One of the reasons I like the crew is because you can enable two line results. Shows all of the files details. Helps when I’m using a Kodi fork for Dolby Vision and also looking for True HD audio.

Thanks for the info. Tried the Kodi authorize with & without VPN but did not change the Seren result. Also tried multiple times again to authorize in Seren with & without VPN. If I use Seren I only get Torrents returned and quite a few less results than The Crew addon. As an example Seren will return 58 Torrent streams and zero RD streams. Crew returns 180+ Torrents and 32 RD streams for the same movie.
Since The Crew is working for me, I’ll just uninstall Seren and move on, Thanks for your again for your help.

Nothing wrong, just personal preference to not go to torrent sites if I don’t have to. I’ll use them if it’s the only option but since Crew is working, I’ll stick with that addon. Thanks for the input.

This will be a Seren server issue, and not RD authorization because RD working on other add-ons.
In the meanwhile also try to use other kodi add-ons, those days many add-ons being shutdown.
If you want to continue with Seren. Try to update the Repository where you installed Seren add-ons, to do so go-to:
Add-ons> to the right above, under category> Click on Install from Repositories> navigate to the repository ropo that contains Seren add-on> with your remote long press ok button> then with the down arrow to update repository.
Sometimes if it’s a Server issue will take little longer than supposed to.

Nightwing works perfectly for Movies and TV Series. I authorized Real Debrid and found hundreds of sources for each movie. It even has it’s own scrapers. All movies played without buffering.

I thought Seren worked only with RD? Wouldn’t this mean that all your results are RD results even though it’s not labelled since this addon works with RD only?

I just loaded Nightwing and it is working very well. Very pleased! RD and open source work great.
If I recall correctly, I tried Seren and it was loaded with pop-up ads. The annoying kind of ads that you can’t click through. So I dumped it.
