Having installed MX player how can I choose this or other players that I have installed from within Kodi?
I’ve never tried this but it is possible by setting up an XML file called playercorefactory.xml. I’ve read about people doing this for kodi on Windows, not sure if it’ll work on fire devices. It’s not like switching players with APKs which is very simple once you have alternate players installed on your device.

I don’t see why you would need a different player, kodis works great.
