Baseball is heading in the wrong direction. They are grabbing $ when they need to grab fans first. The more it is accessible the more people will see it.

Athletic is Gated unless you have a sub. So does this mean you need a Roku Device to see these Sunday Games. Yeah baseball has a real marketing problem. Most hard core fans are older and a lot of em don’t want to be streaming on a device. They are the Anti Insiders!

I downloaded the app onto the Nvidia. I have to try to remember my roku login. Its been years since i used it. Lol
Yea im just lucky my tv os is roku…so its there if I need it but that’s not very often.
The worst thing about streaming is sometimes I get a score change on my phone before I see it. Lol
Why would that happen? Are you not streaming in real time?
I like that effect, lets me do other things and not miss the big play 
I dont know of any streaming in real time. There is always some delay. Cable is about a 7 second delay from live and I’ve had some streams a minute behind that. The MLB app is pretty quick with sending score changes.
If you dont get a delay what are you using to watch? Im not talking paid subscriptions but kodi or sports fire etc. Even so i dont think any stream will be real time. Its just the nature of sending the signal. But ive been wrong before and will be again. lol
LOL A Minute behind? I know my feeds are not a minute behind sure maybe 10 seconds or so. A good way to test this is find out the exact time the Game will start. Like 7:09PM. I’ve done this before to be sure my feed is on time. And I’m talking about a paid IPTV service. Maybe disable your score updates on your phone while watching if that’s happening to you
Yeah you might get a quicker feed from the iptv. I dont pay for that. I have cable on one tv. The other is for free streaming only.
I always tell myself to turn it off but like @TXRon says if I’m away from the tv I’ll know what i missed. It just when I’m watching that it spoils it.
Ive noticed with thetvapp that it is a good one minute behind.
