Hello TxRon !
Just read the review. Thank you.
Curious as to what G1 certified means.
G1=Google/NetFlix approved.
Does the cert have any other implications such as
no malware/tracking etc that TroyPoint.com has warned us of with some of the inexpensive boxes?
(This box is not cheap…@73 Euros or USD @ $75.)

Thank you in advance as to clarifying this for me/us (old folks).
Loving every minute spent at TroyPoint…

The G1 is one box ive never actually tried and G1 is just the model number. @AMD237 has this box and seems to really like it. Certified generally means you are getting full android-tv and full display options. I would put this box right there with the newest mecool km2 that Troy just reviewed. Almost identical spec wise.

Thank you for the quick response.
It never occured to me that G1 as part of the model number/ID of the item.
I googled G1 and got automotive/Google Instructor level/FAA responses.

You da Man!

I have the G2, but really do like it. G1 seems similar, if you try it, let us know, as I am curious about this one!

The G1 sure does look like a nice box, though. If anyone tries it, I’m interested in hearing their review of it. G2 is super dependable and does everything I need it to do. And is fast!
