Is there a guide or video explaining the process. What is a good controller to use?
Hello @oct2317 See my video here - Play Thousands of Retro Games on Firestick / Fire TV with RetroArch
Wondering how RetroArch is treating you?
Batocera Linux is the way to go - I’ve been using it for over a year & absolutely love how it hides all the complexity of RetroArch under the hood & integrates more modern emulators that don’t run inside RetroArch yet (like RPCS3 for PS/3 emulation).
And it’s a full fledged operating system with a million ways to tinker with the power of Linux. I have it running as an Emby media server in the background.
Bringing any experience you have with RetroArch will be handy as you’ll know your way around under the hood.
But for the most part, the beautiful, easy to use interface & near flawless game identification to download box art, videos, etc is a godsend.
I’ve been using An 8BitDo Lite controller most of the time, converted an original Sega 6-button controller to Bluetooth, bought an original N64 controller & most recently got a Wiimote & nunchuk. What’s awesome about the Wiimote is being able to use it as a light gun, say, in arcade games.
I could go on & on but this is what’s off the top of my head!
