Has there been a solution found to getting around real-debrid telling you to turn off VPN to renew? I’ve been reading past posts, and it seems to be a continuing problem. One that I now have, as my subscription is up soon.

I’ve turned mine off when renewing and never had an issue. Renewed 3 times.

Yes it depends on your location. In my case I used CC payment couldn’t be completed except if I turn VPN of.

Yes, but that defeats the purpose of remaining as anonymous as possible. Never had to turn it off before.
Some vpns you can leave on some you cant when it comes to vpns.
What does it matter about being anonymous on real debird? If you where to go that route you would need a disposable credit card and use that.
No goverment agency will bother you with real debrid. Vpns and real debrid isnt a issue. Id sggest going with stremio then if you want to use without real debrid
The reason you have to turn it off is some vpns screw with the payment process in a weird way which is why rd lists vpns as non compatible.

I do use disposables or btc. Seems odd that all of a sudden you can’t renew without turning off the VPN.
As i explained some vpns mess with thrle process when using online payments. Not in a negaitve way its just the encryption process.
Not all vpns do it on real debird, look at their compatibility list.

This is weird: Other user have been blocked from paying with active VPN, because he was using Opera browser with built-in VPN. Then he deactivated VPN and tried again but payment process did not completed, and suddenly he was disconnected from RD website after that he received email verification request in browser He was logged out, and he couldn’t login again except after email verification to reset he password. After that he sign in with VPN provider and renewed RD account with active VPN

Yeah, I was able to keep my VPN on and use my phone instead of laptop to pay. Weird.

Again this is depends on location in some countries you can’t pay with cc with active VPN payment process will not be completed due to security level to avoid fraud.

If your vpn is on the capabilities lost then you should be fine, unless you loggin in on different ips and vpn on/off their server may have auto flagged it.

Real debrid is not a service you need to worry about being anonymous for signing up. Just use a VPN when you’re streaming content. It’s not illegal to sign up for a megahoster. My apologies to some other regulars on here… But you need to loosen up.

I just renewed with Real Debrid yesterday with a CC and no vpn turned on, had no issues.

Yes it’s possible to use CC without VPN.
But in some countries you can use CC with VPN on. In other countries is only possible without.

I just renewed my Real Debrid account for another 6 months. I did what I always do - buy 6 months, get 800 points and then buy another 2 months, get an additional 200 points and then trade the 1000 points in for a free additional month. Except this time, when I tried to buy the additional 2 months, RD said “You already have enough months” and won’t let me but any more.
Is this a harbinger of future rate increases or other changes?

No problem. I would think it’s because you’ve just purchased & there’s no need. Get to the last 2 months or fee weeks & try it again.
It works as I’ve just used all my points for an extra 4 months.
