Remote Access App for Fire TV & Android TV Streaming Boxes

Hi Everyone

It’s been a minute since I’ve been on here. RL has a way of beating you up. It’s good to be back on here.

Question…thanks to Troypoint and all of you as Patrons, I’ve got a very small fledgling Tech Support business going. I’m wondering if any of you have tried or or using any Remote Access Apps with success. It seems using something like this in lieu of either bring the streaming device to me or me to the device, would solve a big issue. Also, my Mom lives across the country from me, and wants to fix a problem she is having with her device, seems like every time I call her.

Any suggestions on Apps, likes/dislikes, how do you think it is as far as easy of use and functionality to helping fix or update devices remotely, would be appreciated.

You might check out rcloudsystems.com remote app. It is inexpensive and has worked well for me on connecting to several types of streaming devices remotely from my computer to control them and fix issues. Also pretty easy learning curve. Good luck

Thanks Miki…good to hear from you…. I’ve installed AnyDesk….I tried to use it, but I think I must have done something wrong on the install or input the remote device access code wrong, either way, didn’t get the experience I was needing. Not ready to give up on it just yet though.
