Can I use a flash drive as external storage to record from tvmate or do I have to do the whole home dvr? Thanks
Several options easiest being just move tivimate to the usb and you are good to go. Other options are possible as well.

Recording…
Recording folder…
Select folder…
You should see your flashdrive…
Enter into it, & pik a folder or just press select…
Your folder path should now reflect the change to that flashdrv…

are you able to change the recording default directory to point it to your flashdrive ? I get an error when trying to point it to my flash drive
