Received new Asus router today

I received my new RT-AX86U router and was wondering if I should bridge it with my Netgear router or just use the Asus? All advice is welcomed.

No i I meant to put AX68U my mind was thinking AX86u while i was writing.I am just old but I did buy the Ax68u.

I changed from Apple to Samsung and i didn’t get your reply earlier.

I wouldnt bridge it yet as the small apartment most likely wont need it. Set up the vpn with stock firmware and test it out. If not satisfactory then grab a copy of merlin firmware.

Yea I thought that it might be too much for 450 sf I was going to going to do it today but i got aggravated with some other stuff so I didn’t want to press my luck.Thanks as always TXRon.

I looked on Amazon and they just received some new Ax86u routers in and i am kind of thinking about sending the AX68u back for it.Any advice on the matter?

They are sold and shipped by Amazon.

Thanks Bigrich i will try to enjoy but I really don’t understand whats going on with Amazon. I iust went back to my purchase and decided to go back to the site I purchased it on and it said something totally different.
