Apologize if this is a dumb question or has been asked but does Real Debrid work for live tv or only for movies/tv shows?

No, real debrid is not ment for live tv.

Thanks for clarifying. Is there anything to improve the quality of the live stream to 4K or 1080p? All
The streams I have seen for live sports are lacking in comparison.
Live tv has nothing to do with real debrid. Not every live stream will be 4k. You need to find out which channels are 4k and save them.
If your with a iptv provider speak to them on it. Im pretty sure most channals will tell what hd format they are broadcasting in.
The Shields have an AI feature that’s pretty close to doing what you want.

Upscaling isnt the same thing as 4k. But you are correct. I didnt think of this.
Can you eleborate on the shields?

The 2019 models have feature that enhances the picture called AI. I am certain you can find a YouTube demonstrating that feature.
