RadioTime: Online Radio AM FM

Just picked up from the dev on discord, looks new and plays quick. For tho’s who like internet radio.

RadioTime: Online Radio AM FM - Apps on Google Play

I have Radio Garden on my tablet and phone. I like the UI and it is worldwide. You can also use it on any PC. Not only do you get a worldwide selection of radio stations, but you can also learn a bit about the geography of our planet. :earth_americas: :earth_asia: :earth_africa:

I was able to get it downloaded on my Nvidia using the Aurora Store (see attached PNG), but I don’t recommend it for Android TV. I had to use the Set Orientation app to change to landscape and I had to use my Mouse Toggle to navigate. It is easier if you used a remote mouse pad, but you can make do with just the Mouse Toggle.

Radio Garden - Made with Clipchamp

My main radio app is mytuner radio. I have it on all my phones/tablets. RadioTime was shown to me on discord by the developer and its free, So I checked it out at his urging and its pretty good, snappy and still under development.

I use iHeart radio on my phone. Used it for years.

Love iHeart, I keep it installed as my backup along with tunein

I usually either use iHeart or YouTube when casting to my JBL Flips. Really only listen to radio in the car.

I love using it on our roof top deck. A small Marley speaker that clips to my belt and I’m g2g for hours.

I had the Tunein app but I never used it. I just now downloaded it again and I think it is a pretty good app. Raining right now, but I will check it out more thoroughly late on.

Generally if a station cant be found on iheart you can find it on tunein or audacy :+1:

Thanks

Radio time does not work with most of the stations. Looks like the radio links built in are not being updated and policed by the developer.

hard to beat iheart for radio and podcast

That’s what I use on my phones, tabs and streaming devices. Can’t beat the ease of picking a genre. Have a great day @TXRon

Thanks for making me look at IHEART radio app. It has some integrated interesting technology. Shows the album/CD cover, as well as artist-song. Plus it allows you to display the lyrics of the song. Will need to test the AA part of it.

FYI you can now listen to the real WKRP in Cincinnati online. It became a real radio station in the last couple months. IHEART has it, and you can add it to the PRESET which is a kind favorite list for the AA, when using in your vehicle radio.

fyi…I used to subscribe to spotify but the price kept going up as well as others like it..Switched to iHeart and although it is a free app, the paid version has its perks and is cheaper and has more than music…win…win

@TXRon just an FYI. You can get a Premium Spotify sub (No commercials) for less than $20/year on Alibaba. It’s the only sub I pay for - Need the commercial free music when doing my workouts

good to know and wow…thats a discount :scream:

yup, Charlotte will hook you up just like Amber for IPTV

Make sure you ask for the US version as I had the overseas one and the password kept taking a dump. They have a US based one and it’s been perfect
