I am trying hard to wean myself off of Amazon. Where is a good place to purchase products in general with good prices, a return policy, and fast delivery? Right now, I am specifically searching for thumb drives. Any brand suggestions?
walmart
If you buy any drives on line, be weary of big size for cheap, or even bundles like 3- 64GB thumbs for $8.00 or whatever ridiculous amount, almost always they are fake, you have to look closely, they are making the fakes look just like the real ones ….
I bought this off of Amazon several months back for my Shield Pro. But man! has the price of memory gone up!! I paid $9 at that time. It worked great in the Shield.
Staples, Walmart, New Egg, not sure if Tiger direct is still in business, Office Max,
@DaveZerf , i forgot about NewEgg, they have deals(sometimes Great deals) on tons of items, good call….
tigerdirect went belly up. newegg typically has great stuff but they always seemed slow on shipping to me. heck with walmart+ you can even get free same day delivery now in many places, and exchanging or returning is easy. they are trying hard to cut into amazon’s business.
I just remember buying my first computer probably 25 years ago from Tiger Direct.
Yes it a walmart has it at a store close they will bring it, I can’t have anything shipped because I never get it, they only recognize my address as being in another zip code, so it is always on the wrong fed ex truck.
yea one of the first pcs I built I purchased several of the components from Tiger.
I ordered my wife some vitamin b supplement from walmart couple of months back. It said same day delivery, I was very skeptical lol… but low and behold that same day, some strange blue car came up our driveway, I thought oh no Jehova’s Witnesses again hide… but turns out it was a young girl with a backseat full of walmart items. they weren’t even bagged or boxed, she asked my name scanned the b12 and handed it to me. I was like wow…. this walmart+ is pretty decent lol
Yes I can get same day deliveries some how, just nothing not delivered by walmart drivers. When I bought my LG TV I found a good deal direct from LG, but I could not have it shipped because like Walmart they use USPS for address verification, There is no mail delivery to my address, so I have a PO box, the address they want to use in a different zip code will show my building when put in google maps, but my actual address will not show up in Maps, but the kicker is if I just google my address there is usually a zillow listing and it shows the same picture.
I was on the phone with the LG guy for 35 minutes, when he finally told me they use USPS addresses, I asked why, because it is not like they are going to mail my TV. He was not sure.
Best Buy has some good products.
Get a Walmart+ account and forget about Amazon
