The features settings are not available on streaming devices, they are on the phones and computers. It’s something I’ve asked them about and they are working on it.

Thanks @Miki good to know. I asked my contact there as well and that was three days ago and still no reply. Will definitely revisit once they add some settings/features. Seems very fast!

It is fast and it seems to be the wireguard protocol, and as you said all security is present but not all options unfortunately. I do not know if my setup from say my phone transfers over or not. Thank you for your review.

Great review and Great company. I do not use their vpn service but it is my backup. I do use the email, calendar and cloud storage and its is the best. I converted all my gmail over to them and they just all work with updates throuout the year and always bringing new services.

I like the proton products but I am not willing to pay for the Proton VPN offering at this time on the TV or my desktop. I use the email and related tools but not the VPN as I use IP vanish, and also VPN Unlimited.

This is an awesome review thank you! Do you have a video on the IPVanish splitting you mentioned?
My subscription to IPVanish is good until 2024 so, I’m not looking for another VPN, at least right now. However, if they add some improvements I might switch to ProtonVPN as I already have a premium account with them for email.

BTW, off topic but, Cinema is still working fine for me. I seen new TV & Movie entries too.
I received a reply from Proton regarding the missing options on streaming devices. Once again I simply got the Corporate line, “we are looking into this but do not have a timeline for updates”. They said they would pass on my function requests to the developement team. I have now canceled my sub renewal and removed any payment method. Of course there are no articles on their site addressing these agregious oversights. I would never have bought a lengthy sub had I known that Proton does not care about streaming or streamers.
