I’k sure its for all the service. Makes no sense to audit one and sell another.

I have an issue with Proton and other VPNs using the fastest or closest server to me. In my case I am fairly close to Seattle so I’m also close to Canada. When those servers are seleted Amazon Video app asks me to pay because they think I’m outside the country. I can use other servers at a slower speed to get past this.
Wasn’t there discussion some time ago about these VPNs getting around those situations or am I confusing this with fooling Netflix of what country you are in? Anyway it is kind of dark between these ears. If you could turn a light on it would be very helpful.
