Problem downloading Xfinity Stream with Troypoint App

I am using a NVIDIA Shield Pro with the Troypoint Rapid App to install Xfinity Stream. When I download the app, the download is very quick and when I select play to install it, I get an error message “There was a problem parsing the Package.”

I have cleared out the app’s downloads and checked for updates. I am using the latest version of the app and other items download and install correctly. I am rebuilding the Shield after doing a Factory Reset.

Any help with what I am doing wrong?

Try deleting the app and the cache and data make sure there is no trace of the previous install do you have file explorer or other apps similar that would have it downloaded to if so make sure it’s deleted there also . Turn off VPN and try to download again. Let us know how you make out and if you still have problem :v::grin: if that doesn’t work try downloading from the play store

Mhmm, its possible the rai needs to be updated with the latest version, try going on the play store and download the lastest version which should be may 2022.

Hi, I just installed a new 4k firestick on my tv and tried to download the Xfinity app via the rapid app installer and got the following message:

There was a problem parsing the package

I’m assuming it’s the Xfinity app. I first downloaded it directly from the app store and anytime I tried to scroll through the tv guide it would freeze and kick me out. I was hoping I’d have better luck using the Rapid App Installer.

Has anyone had this issue with downloading Xifinity

There is an updated version on the play store try that first. 2 things are happening with that error, ether you dont have the right android version for the app, or the app is outdated.
