Premiumize.me now includes AI chatbots

PM has always been a little different than other debrids and now they’ve added access to 5 different Ai. (meta-llama, OpenAi, Gpt-5, Gpt4o, Deepseek).

How much users will use/value this will vary but I do like how they differentiate to stand out.

Not much info so far and still in development. They posted this on Reddit.

There is currently no further information available and no public announcement has been made. We recently activated this feature for all users. It is, of course, included in the premium membership and there are no additional costs. We are still experimenting with the models offered, but will provide additional information in due course.

You can find it under features

or directly

Thanks, that’s pretty nifty. I can’t imagine how many hours of my life this is going to steal.

Got it to make this :backhand_index_pointing_down::backhand_index_pointing_down::backhand_index_pointing_down:

We need a TP First Impressions video :upside_down_face:

I know what you mean. It is a rabbit hole and sucks you in. Definitely a time killer.

One day AI will allow us to up make our own personalized entertainment. Can’t wait to see the insider tips. Troy will definitely have to be on point.

Here’s my first one.

I still have my PM sub from their 3 year Black Friday deal and appreciated the reliability, but I will never make use of this feature, I really fail to see how this is something that fits a service like theirs in any way :face_with_diagonal_mouth: Instead of addressing things such as updating their own app or taking another look at possibly adjusting their fair use points system, this just got randomly dropped and doesn’t fit in with the rest of what they offer in any way in my opinion.

As I said in my post, individual usefulness will vary but PM has always been different than other debrids and a more varied premium service (Hence the name).

This absolutely fits in their digital services platform just like the extras they have offered over other debrids like persistent cloud storage, RSS integration, VPN servers, NZB/Usenet etc. Ai is the future and as the models move out of testing, they want subscriptions and this allows you to have it all under one service like not having multiple streaming subscriptions, a Usemet subscription, a cloud storage subscription etc.

PM has never been after the “just streaming” market.

Or giving more fair use points. The AI is also a waste for me.

TPs demographics seem to lean to the older side, so I’m sure many on here would feel the same but younger people use Ai heavily. They use it for school, their jobs, research, creativity etc. It will be a valuable addition that many will use. I’m guessing the cost to add it is minimal since they will just be a passthrough. I think it is a nice plus with no cost increase.

The Demographics here definitely lean to the older side. In my 60’s but make it a point to stay current with tech. I use AI (Grok) a lot and really like it. It’s amazing what it can do

Oh I am sure that it MAY be of benefit and it has nothing to do with my age. I keep up on tech and embrace it. My caution is rooted in distrust, and I err on the side of caution. So I wait and watch and until such things can be trusted 100% I’ll sit on the sideline and wait.

I fully agree with you on this as far as caution is concerned. For me all their previous features were built around them being a streaming/web downloader solution. This step now reminds me of companies like Proton that try to do too many things at once.

1 TB of cloud storage as a premium feature to have things that don’t get purged from the cache is nice to have, yet I would never use it as a “serious” cloud storage, say for documents for example. It’s a business registered in Malaysia that clearly is aware of what 99% of its users buy the service for. All official cloud storage providers deliver whitepapers regarding their encryption processes and external audits.

RSS integration is something other debrids have as well.
Their VPN is mostly meant for people to always be able to access PM even through ISP blocks. It eats through the fair use points like crazy since all data going through the tunnel counts against it, has no audit etc. It’s just not a valid replacement for a paid VPN.

Their Usenet retention is not super great, and they don’t allow directly accessing their Usenet backbone for streaming. You have to go out and find an nzb file, add it to your cloud, and then manually stream from there.

But as far as AI chatbots, that doesn’t fit in anywhere and there’s no statements at all regarding what they keep and use the accumulated data for. For an all-in-one mainstream solution for all these things, it’s simply too much of a legally gray area that companies like Premiumize operate in with not enough documentation and audits.

I have and use Proton every day. I like that each part of the added services have their own shortcut and the password vault is simply amazing with the ability to give access to others you trust a specific vault. With their VPN I lose absolutely zero download speed, and I mean absolutely nothing. Their VPN also has specific servers designed and capable of bypassing blocks. I could go on endlessly but this is about Premiumize. My sole beef with them is the small fair use number. It is so easy to eat that up with quality streams, but at least the cached stuff doesn’t impact as much if at all so that does help. I got their 3 yr deal as it was then less than $5/mth. I also like the ability to choose servers that are closer to where I live and that allows me to choose one of my VPN servers that is close to them. I have had very little impact from the Torrentio debacle, between PM and RD.

Is it my imagination but, has Premiumize pricing gotten a lot higher than it used to be.
I wasn’t paying attention and my last subscription expired. I just looked to renew and it is $79 a year now!

What are you all’s thoughts on either Alldebrid or Real-debrid?

You just need to watch for a deal. They offer 2yr and 3 yr deals.

Premiumize. Black Friday: 2-year ($109) or 3-year ($139) Service + 1 TB Cloud Storage, & VPN

I got the 3 yr deal and that works out to just over $46/yr. About $3.85/mth. I just renewed RD for 6 mths and RD works out to about $38/yr. about $3.20/mth

10-4. Is Real-Debrid working ok? They still take BTC. and is much more reasonably priced.

DUH…

I have used RD for many years and it has never let me down even through the short issue a few years ago. I tried Premiumise and I prefer RD. Just a personal choice - each to his/her own.

I have and use RD, TB, and PM
