Using a good quality VPN as advertised on TroyPoint should protect you from being exposed. I have recently moved away from Android boxes that have been certified by Google. There are many good respectable ones out there. I use the Formuler Z12 Ultra. It runs rock solid and I don’t have the issues described in this article. I used to run the Nvidia Shield Pro which is certified by Google. It’s still a good quality box. I just don’t like the idea that Google can lock it down when they suddenly decide to go that way.
