I just setup a Onn Box with CinemaHD, BeeTV and Filmplus. Once I complete the search process or when I attempt to close the app a PopUP ad will fill the screen and not allow me to proceed or exit. I have looked in the GoogleTV setup and within the apps but I cannot find a way to turn off ads/popups. Bascially I need to go to the home function then go into setup and force stop the app to be able to try and use it again. Any thoughts?

Works like a charm…I have SurfShark
I used a mouse doggle from Troypoint toolbox for a little while it worked on the x to remove the ad. Also other ads you have to wait till they play out before you can back up so I know what you mean. But now the mouse doggle won’t always come up. I have to do exactly what you have been doing and yes it’s annoying why these developers don’t allow you to back out of an ad is beyond me people will just go to other APKs. One I believe TeaTv I have as a backup doesn’t have ads or you’re able to back out pretty quick. As for them recommending surfshark yes if you don’t have a VPN that would be good but I have IPVanish that I’ve had for some years now only paying about $13.50 every 3 months I emailed surfshark support and they cannot match that at all too bad or I would switch over. I did get the Walmart ONN also and just put Kodi W/The Crew and films plus on it. I notice for a little bit films plus had no ads and I was like wow then it must have updated and boom the ads came back. I think IPvanish should update and have a pop-up blocker. One thing I noticed the IPvanish works on the onn with their notification bug if you’re disconnected wouldn’t work on the fire sticks. I’ve been using these APKs for some years now and Kodi at the beginning but I got to tell you these ads are very annoying getting out putting on a force stop makes you want to throw the whole thing out the window. Too bad a developer can’t come out with a pop-up blocker like the doggle mouse. Maybe Troy can recommend something else other than just Surfshark it’s not worth it for me to switch over and pay twice the price with Surfshark every 3 months. It seems to be just the nature of the game so most of the time I watch on prime video I do pay for Discovery Plus worth it for me on prime video it just adds all their shows into the lineup Paramount Plus I get free with Walmart +subscription for food delivery half price for Medicaid or other with Walmart+ assist Hope I have helped Cheers

Yes, I asked this question recently. Based on the responses, I searched Google for Blockada v4 installed it on my firestick and it blocks these obnoxious ads on BeeTV and FilmPlus really well. Give it a try. Note that the later versions of Blockada may not work and require a subscription.
Alternatively, you can get the SurfShark VPN and use CleanWeb wich doe a fantastic job blocking all ads.
That’s really odd. Nobody else has reported this. What apps are you seeing this with and what device are you using?
Firestick 4k max, Surfshark w/cleanweb works great with Bee and Filmplus, but does NOT block ads on Tea Tv.
So for Tea TV I use Blokada 4, but then Surfshark is not running.
I am using BeeTV and Cinema. BeeTV strong armed me to upgrade to 3.7.0 and I did then here came the ads after every show or movie. Then my light bulb went off, I changed my DNS settings on my router to the AdGuard one and no more ads.
my streaming device is Nvidia Shield.
You must have been using an older version of BeeTV - it’s has ads for some time now (before 3.7.0)
I get sometimes on stremio but they’re built into the show or they’re coming directly from the channel it’s being ripped.
