Player error in Stremio

Getting a lot of:
“Oops, Player Error”
messages when I play a stream recently. Using Torrentio with Real Debrid (subscription through 2026). Never used to get these messages until a month or so ago.

Any ideas???

Saw this on Reddit for all it’s worth don’t know if your using same VPN but I thought I’d throw it out there. It was the same error message.

I use Surfshark and Stremio every day - I haven’t ever had this issue

My Real Debrid subscription expired in January. Are you still seeing RD linked shows/movies in Stremio?

I have both RD amd PM and get lots of sources from both.

No problem getting RD links. Just the occasional one give the “Player Error” message.

Yes, plenty of feeds to choose from. RD has never let me down

Figured it out - I was using an older version of Stremio (1.5.9). Hate the new Stremio interface so deferred on updating the app. Using 1.6.10 right now with an interface that’s updated some but not as bad as the current 1.6.12 version.

I’m with you @sktn77a The latest interface update is a huge step backwards IMHO, now you don’t even get a proper display of what is new on series. No checkmarks. Much more difficult to search and to find things. Trakt may help. Haven’t had time to test it out.
