After a couple of years of trouble-free service, I’m getting a lot of “Playback Error” messages on streams with the app now. Elementary (S01E08) and Vera (S13e01) for example. Anybody else having similar issues?

There is problem with the server or site. Lots of ppl having issues, me included. Finally got it to play but RD+ links aren’t loading. Maybe this winter storm.

yeah, appears to be the RD servers that are down - nothing on FilmPlus or BeeTV either.
I checked the RD site. Nothing posted. OnStream also buffering. Odd source playing but takes a lot of searching, so not just RD

I use RD so never any issues with playback and use the stream with the most seeders
I don’t think it is RD itself, because when I could not get Stremio to work last night, I went to my back up on Kodi and watched (Nap) with no problem using a RD link. Stremio was working fine this morning.
Yes, when I couldn’t get anything on Stremio yesterday, I tried BeeTV and Filmplus - zero RD streams. Now they’re all back.
(And hardly any of the frees streams worked - a sign of the times).

I started having the same problem yesterday. It persists today! I had another problem a few weeks ago and deleted and reinstalled the Torrentio RD addon, which cleared things up, but that didn’t work this time.
Sounds like everyone is saying I’ve just got to ride it out, but if there’s something that I can do, please let me know!
I’m using Real Debrid, by the way, and my subscription isn’t up for another 5 weeks, just so you know!
Torrentio is having massive issues, including downtime, and even during its uptime, the handshake between it and Stremio is prone to failure at the moment due to API issues.
You can set up AIOStreams with all the other addons, that way you won’t even notice an outage, or replace (or add to) your RD with Torbox, which includes its own addon with more stability and uptime.
But simply adding the two addons Comet and Stremthru Torz will already cover you 99% in case of Torrentio outages.

I have been using Comet RD and MediaFusion RD. Both are working just fine. A bit more work to configure if you want to, but they do have beginner setups with everything you need, just authorize RD in them. I have done the same with PM.

Boy… I should have came here when I started having torrentio issues. I just assumed it was on my end, uninstalled updated api key, reinstalled and still not working. Could have saved myself a lot of aggravation lol

Thanx for the advice! They must have gotten their issues cleared up at Torrentio, as everything is working flawlessly (again)!
I’ve always been a believer in having a Plan B (sometimes even a Plan C), so I’ll definitely be checking out Comet, Stremthru Torz (your recommendations) as well as MediaFusion RD (recommended by Miki)!
