A Greek court recently sentenced an individual to five months in prison for subscribing to a pirate IPTV service. This decision has been hailed as a landmark move in the fight against piracy, sparking discussions on its broader implications against IPTV. But is this case real? While authorities emphasize the economic and social damages caused…
Sounds as if its a staged story with intent to scare people from using iptv.
Let’s Crack On refers to a case where an IPTV user was given a prison sentence but was given multiple warnings and multiple chances to stop using that service and then sold it to others.
all that time and effort for one man sounds a put up job .stream on
I’d have no problem subscribing from accountable ISP’s who would give me what I want at reasonable cost, but to date, they insist on bundling resources, forcing me to pay through the nose for same. Working outside that framework is more a protest vote than anything, and the more they attempt to scare me into submission, the more American and less Canadian, I find myself becoming, lol.
YouTubeTV = $82.99/mo
Netflix = $22.99/mo
Hulu = $95.99/mo
Xfinity = $68.50/mo
Paramount+ = $7.99/mo
Any guess as to the incentive to pirate what once was FREE?
Not that Prison isn’t serious, but this case and the reactions to it remind me of the movie Animal House and being put on Double Secret Probation !
This genius was advertising pre programmed streaming devices on FACEBOOK
He was given multiple warnings to stop, which he ignored l
He continued to sell on Facebook, with more warnings !
First he was sentenced to 3+ years for selling copyrighted material !
Secondarily sentenced to 2 years for watching IPTV served Concurrently (meaning at the same time). So what do you think? Was he really punished for watching ?!?
Seems to me the authorities did everything possible NOT to prosecute this case ?

Since there is no solid or actual verifiable info. such news should not even be published. We need facts not heresay.
There has to be more to the story. To spend the resources for one individual seems much I’m sure there’s more to come from this
Come on guys, this is Greece fur Pete’s sake !!! It’ll be a long time b4 us (Arghhhh…) pirates will have to watch our 6 here in U.S. Maybe 1 day when “THEY” control everything, but I hope I’ll be home by then
Too many things “dont add up” for this to be true. The ONLY way really i see any possible “truth”: if not only was the person sentenced to jail a subscriber, but also was caught selling what he/she was subscribing to.
Otherwise, i believe the whole thing to be completely false.
