I just don’t see how “VPN companies operating anywhere in the world could face pressure to comply with Italian blocking orders if they serve Italian users.” For example, SurfShark’s base of operations is in Amsterdam. I can’t see how an Italian law can reach beyond its jurisdictional borders to another country like Amsterdam. What are they going to do, send their stormtroopers to Amsterdam to enforce Italian law. I must have read this article wrong or it was misprinted.
