Hey @Miki , I think you were referring to Green acres, not Gilligans Island! Both from the same generational timeframe, and our “seasoned” brains sometimes mash things together.

ADB Debugging on the ONN PRO. Go into System, developer options, and turn off the USB DEBUGGING.

To disable ADB Turn this option off. (To enable ADB,….. USB DEBUGGING has to be turned on) .

Lol. Nope I did mean Gilligans Island. I started with Green Acres but then with my ADHD, I jumped to another song in my head. :face_with_spiral_eyes::face_with_peeking_eye::flushed_face::grin: To much coffee :hot_beverage:

Hi @westy686 I have the onn android box but when I deactivated the USB debugging which also deactivated my ADB , I cannot use my TDK CACHE CLEANER nor the TDUK APP KILLER, nor the DNS SWITCHER. If you or anyone else has any help or ideas about this, please let me know :folded_hands:t3:

I tried to go to the Synthient site to check my device but I’m blocked by Cloudflare. Tried with and without my VPN. Same issue. Most likely because I’m in Asia. I’ve reached out to them to unblock me. We’ll see what happens.

Unless I’m mistaken those apps need the adb active to work.

Yes, you’re right Miki. I use those apps by TDUK on my onn 4k device and they do need to be connected by ADB. I just didn’t know if there was any other option besides disabling the USB / ADB to protect from getting infected by KIMWOLF Botnet? DAMN! :angry:

Hi there. I’m just catching up on various threads and I’ve noticed that ADB has been mentioned several times across threads. Usually, I can figure out acronyms on my own, but not this one. What is ADB, please?

With it you can install an app, adb shell app, to allow you to enter code that gives you access to hidden functions or settings. Here is Troy’s tutorial.
