OTT Ocean IPTV Service

Saw somewhere that OTT Ocean IPTV was pretty highly rated. For fun, I tried the trial and seems pretty good. I wouldnt recommend if you are looking for 24/7 channels or anything but could be a solid backup service. The website only shows a 1 connection service, but they have to have more, I would think. $95/year for 1 connection and also have monthly, 3 months, 6 months and even lifetime.

not too bad a price if they supply m3u then 1 connection is as good as 100 :slightly_smiling_face:

I got the m3u and Xtream codes. Also forgot to mention, there are tons and tons of worldwide channels.

They take debit/credit card as well as Bitcoin payment. Also offer the free trial.

Trouble is you can only ever have 1 connection on, otherwise you have to but 5 seperate subs. Here is their answer to “Do you have a 5 conn 1yr sub, and if so how much?”

One subscription can be used on multiple devices but you can watch only on one device at the same time.

If you want multiple connections at the same time then you need to take separate subscriptions.

Miki, when I posted this last night I hadn’t asked them anything about the multiple connections yet. I just saw it, tried it for a couple hours and thought it was decent. My mind first went more to someone who was looking for a 1 connection backup service, but I just didn’t know about what else they offered. Guess they don’t have multiple, sorry. :frowning:

only true unless you are capable of re-streaming. Example would be emby or xteve which both are capable. One connection in and as many out as you want all at same time if wanted and your equipment can handle it. The provider only can see the one stream but not where it goes once you re-stream it.

Yes true. You have a great setup with your own server. Definately an advanced user. lol

I wouldnt call emby advanced :joy:…its just like plex and in use more than you might think

Oh hey AMD237 you don’t have to apologize for anything my friend. I just wanted to dig deeper and get the full scoop as I always buy a full year 5 conn sub. So I wanted to check on their limitations. It may be ok for a single connection but unless you have a setup like @TXRon I think most would need a minimum 2 conn sub, especially if recording or more than 1 device in the home.

Just tried them as well everything AWESOME with 2 HUGE negatives PERSONALLY.

*espn+ channels have no EPG listings meaning if I’m looking for a game I got to click thru tens of channels to find it.
*24/7 channels lacking (sure theirs lots of 4k 24/7 and two sections including US & UK) but a lack of the Classics from the 70’s & 80’s was a turnoff for me.

I passed.
OVERALL a strong service.
(edit) identical to another service called God of IPTV which I paid for a month because they DO NOT offer any trials.

Re: Ocean

the ‘Sky Store’ section is a nice option, wher it has 20 fresh movies (bl adam, knock at cabin, wakanda, etc) on 24/7 loops

& they do have free Trials (just change category)

I tried them awhile bck for a cpl mnths, but theyr a little steep, but it is stable & 23k chnnls
(not a fan of the old school ‘crystal ott’ epg, but not a deal breakr, i hv killr epg’s)
the crystal ott server was 1 of my 1rst subs a cpl yrs ago

hth…

Another good one is Viewsible. They offer a free trial, subs for 1,2 or 3 connections and live support, in addition to some good international lineup, some with epg and some without.
