I have been trying now for two days to install the updated version of this app. I have the old version of it, and it is not working well.
Every time I install it I get the old version, 1.02 version or whatever, not the updated 1.09 that I was trying to install. Its on a 4K Firestick.
Any help would be appreciated.
Are you downloading the onstream apk from the official website or from a different place?
Just checked the official site, the latest version for Android TV is still 1.02, the latest version for Android mobile is 1.09.
Download the fire TV version. Not the Android version.
Hey AJ, does onstream have a proper apk for FireTV or just for Android and AndroidTV?

The website a couple weeks ago when I downloaded it only had it for fire TV and Android and in the future they’re going to develop one for pcs. However when I downloaded one for Android it would not work on my fire stick or the TV so I downloaded fire TV to work perfectly on fire stick.
It’s not as good as stremio, but I still impressed with it!
I’m sorry I was wrong you’re right. It only has it for onstream for Android TV and on stream for Android. I downloaded Android tv. The one for Android will not work.

Right. As far as I can tell, the 1.09 is the current number for the Android mobile version. The version you need, which is Android TV, is still currently at 1.02

That’s not the official onstream site though, so use caution.
By the way, you just violated the rules by posting that link according to the person who was schooling me so intently on such things. 
I gotcha. But you never know when you download at one of those offshoots. Official site is https://onstream.so, which I just violated the rules by posting this link according to that person, apparently. I understand. But there’s just 2 current versions of the apk, 1.02 and 1.09. One is for mobile phones/tablets and one is for Android TV. Since I don’t have a Firestick to test, I can’t honestly tell you for sure that the 1.09 version won’t work on a Firestick, but that particular 1.09 version is labeled as being for mobile phones.
Get somebody to try it. Put the mobile version on their Firestick, lol. It might work, crazier things happen all the time. That information is still not from the official site, so I’d take it with a grain of salt. They may only offer that one version at that site.

But it doesn’t have 3 different download options. It has 2 download links at the bottom and if you click both, you will see that they download only 1 version, and they are both the same version. Which is the mobile version. Where did the Android TV version go?

Where? I am the bottom of the page. There are no other download links. Can you take a screenshot of the other download links? I’m on a laptop and they are just not there. The 2 downoad links posted are for the same file, one is just an alternate location.
