I tried both. I think I tried everything possible. Something to do with this new T95Z OS 12. I also cannot run the most recent IPVanish on it either. IPvanish.com sent me a link for an old version and even then it is a pain to get it started.
So I have 3 firesticks l. The “newer” 4K ones work, but the older one is the one I am getting the error for. Perhaps my Firestick is too old? (Fire tv stick 2nd generation)
No real debrid an limited selections but the links play very well for what they have .
firestick 2 will be ok
also check drive space maybe you need to free some up
I just ordered refurbished firesticks the apk worked on some of them then just kept saying problem parsing package with onstream, so then i tried adding other apk’s to that same firestick and they worked with no problem very frustrating ijs
hope it sorts out problem fingers crossed
I have 2 firesticks. I downloaded it on one tv; it worked fine. On the other tv, I got the parse error. Can anyone help why this has happened?
Ok so I could use a bit of clarification in order to figure a direction of help. You mention firesticks and 2 TVs. This is where I’m a tad lost. Did you install the app on both firesticks or did you download directly onto the TVs. Usually the parser error is due to an incorrect version or a corrupt download. Let us know please.
I downloaded Onstream on the firestick of one of my tvs. On my 2nd tv, I went thru the same steps to download Onstream on the firestick. Only on the 2nd tv firestick did I get a parse error message. It downloaded fine on one tv, but not the other?
Are these identical sticks? What version are they. I’m also guessing that you downloaded the same version from the same source?
I downloaded the same version form same source. Sticks are not identical. Sounds like that’s where the problem is.
Aha. Now we have something to focus on. Can you give me the info on the stick that didn’t work please. Version, model etc. Then I can look and see why the app didn’t work and if there is another APK you should try. Have a good night.
fire tv stick (2nd Gen).
So that is a very old stick. Only 1 GB of Ram and FireTV 5 I believe. So there may not be an APK that will install the app on that device as none are compatible. This is most likely why you got the parser error as the APK is not compatible with the older stick. I highly recommend that you get a 4K Max, and they have been on sale for $35 U.S.D. As time goes on and things like the GoogleTV overlay comes along on new devices, devs are not making APKs that support older OSs like FireTV 5.
good to know that stick is old. thanks so much for your help.
Not really a whole lot of help, but thanks. Have a good day.
the problem is this seems only to work with firestick versions os 6 and above so any lower and it will not load
I agree with comment re limited selections. However, if you use the search facility, there is much more content than you think. Anything I have searched for has appeared in results.
Same here, tried several times but always getting the parsing error message, any hp appreciated
