I bought 2 ONN streaming boxes just so I could add USB Storage. After setting them up and getting them working now it just says “USB Drive not connected “. What happened? How do I get it working again?
If I remember correctly you have to make sure you set up the USB Drives initially with USB debugging on then turn it off. See Troy’s comment below.

Exactly what @Miki explained. Once you get everything setup you must turn off USB Debugging in dev options so when the device reboots or powers off/on the USB drive will re-connect. I show this in my video regarding the setup.
It’s turned off but still says not connected.
